Discussion: Las Vegas Shooting Suspect's Girlfriend Says She Had No Idea Of His Plans

So about one gun every six months for 35 years, then one every week and a half. I sure do feel safer knowing that such behavior doesn’t raise any red flags.

She has to be lying. If my significant other came home with a new gun every other week, I would probably be quite concerned after month two. Unless she didn’t know about the gun purchases. I would be especially concerned, if he was known to be abusive toward her. I have a feeling there is more to her story.

That is extremely presumptuous. She is an Australian citizen in the Philippines when this happens, evidently with $100k. She arranges travel and returns to the states, sits down with a lawyer and federal agents and answers questions. Even the most incompetent attorney will advise her any false statements to Feds is a crime, and unlike a politician making that statement, they will actually prosecute her.

It’s entirely possible to acquire large stashes of many things while sharing a house and life with someone and have them not know. Plus and this goes to our gun laws, he had not broken any laws till he broke the window of the hotel, with his gambling history I don’t even think the Mandalay would have had issues with hooking up cameras to the walls, they kind of let you get away with a lot if you are a spender. He resides in a state with lax gun regulations, bordering Arizona and Utah with lax gun regulations, and was not a felon, and had no criminal record nor, mental health treatment history. She therefore would have notified what agency about what situation.
