Discussion: 'Lack Of Trust': IG Report Suggested WH Replace Dr. Ronny Jackson In 2012

Well, there are at least two in the story with no leadership ability. Jackson can’t manage a staff of a couple of dozen, yet he’s expected to lead an agency with nearly 380,000 employees. That’s a disaster waiting to happen, unless he intended to lead the way Ben Carson leads HUD: by hiding under the expensive dining table and doing nothing.

I blame the reporters for the 239 bit. For most doctor’s visits I get asked what my weight is rather than being told to step on the scales. I tell the truth but I do give them the figure after I have removed clothes, trimmed my nails and cut off any split ends on my hair. The reporters should have asked who provided the number.

…allegations about inappropriate workplace behavior, including over-prescribing prescription drugs…

Not exactly the guy you want in charge when there is an opioid addiction crisis in the country, with the community of veterans being particularly hard hit by it.

Normal unimpaired? You’ve set the bar way too high for the Big Orange One.

I was just saying to the spouse today on our walk, why would any proficient MD want to be the personal physician of anybody? On call 24/7, and then you get prosecuted for overdosing your client.

(note; I am not wishing the latter on… )

Well, it turns out he’s a pretty ambitious guy, and you have to admit it must be kind of cool at parties when they ask you what you do. “Well, I’m the President’s personal physician, actually. You?”

One might even say an impulsive decision. Trump looked around, and there was Jackson.

This sounds like exactly what he would do. Jackson may have told him that he needed to cut back a bit on the junk food, and this is the result.
It would be really interesting to find out how many times the leaks from the WH came from the oval office. More than we know, I bet.

Actually that was Candy Carson. She’s the worst!

I suppose that if anyone knows all about thinking meanly of our country and its citizens, it would be Trump.

There are really only two possible explanations for the weight debacle and neither reflects well on Jackson: either he took Trump’s word on the matter which raises questions about his judgment or he’s actively enabling a fraud on the American people who are entitled to know what kind of physical shape their head of state is in.

Right? I mean, it’s not like they had to send the FBI out to interview Jackson’s colleagues, neighbors, childhood acquaintances, et al.

All Dickhead Donnie’s malministration had to do was check the White House’s own damn records. Extreme vetting? They didn’t even meet the lax standard of cursory vetting.

He must have been in the trump aura. It makes one insane, and causes one to suspend critical thinking. This whole mess makes me sad.

Blistering is putting it mildly and unfortunately for us, his assessment is true. There is little consideration for whether or not a candidate for a cabinet position is qualified. It is all about how the person looks and does he/she praise Trump.

I wonder how long Bruni has wanted to use, “pulchritudinous Captain America.” I howled.

In Trump’s world, they call that a day that ends in ‘y’.

Maybe not so cool once you realize your peers include the President’s personal fixer and the President’s personal mistress.

That’s about right. Common reward for sucking up to Trump. See James Comey, JR McMaster, Sean Spicer and many others.

The Office of the White House has about 1,900 employees. I don’t know if everyone gets access, but it is more like operating a small clinic with several doctors and a number of nurses, helping people with the flu, tummy aches, ingrown toenails and so forth.

Also, don’t forget that he’s a Naval officer.
