Rosie, a liberal female lesbian? Words can’t express my delight in how many ways that will harpoon Darth Bannon.
If only she converted to Judaism first.

Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-TN), chair of the HELP Committee, also seemed unfazed by the revelation about Puzder’s undocumented employee.
“Unfazed”. Must be the new medication all the Republicans are on.
IOKIYAR…TO WIT:
“I moved on her and I failed. I’ll admit it,” Trump is heard saying. “I did try and f— her. She was married.”
He added, “I moved on her like a bitch, but I couldn’t get there. And she was married.”
At one point, speaking about women, he is heard saying, “Grab them by the pussy,” “You can do anything.”
See what happens when a 19 year old black kid walks up to a women in a mall and grabs her between the legs. It won't be sly guffaws all around and a chorus of "You go dog!" from an interviewer and a room full of TV producers and technicians.
The law has a term for it: sexual assault,
He really just comes off as disliking people as a whole
Do we really need a Secretary of Labor with so little curiosity?
Well, we have a president with none. So Puzder will do.
We have fully paid back taxes to the IRS and the State of California and submitted all required paperwork,” Puzder, the CEO of CKE Restaurants, said in a statement obtained by the Huffington Post.
This makes no sense. To whom was he (supposed to be) paying employment taxes in the first place? Or did they hire her (wink, wink) as an “independent contractor” and felt that that would absolve them of all accountability? … until, that is, he wants to officially suck the government teat.
OOOOPPPPSSSS!!!
“Labor Nominee Admits To Employing Undocumented Immigrant”
Agreed. Also, his statement says that he had to pay back taxes to the IRS and California which means he was probably paying her under the table - more broken laws.
Trump has two pillars to his entire Presidency. (1)-Terrorism lurks everywhere. (2)-Illegal immigrants and undocumented workers are robbing citizens of jobs. And they’re terrorists in the making (see 1). His labor secretary nominee is guilty of a transgression in category #2. And that violation, in Trump’s mind, enabled category #1 possibly occurring.
Therefore, Trump’s supporters in Congress will vote to affirm Puzder’s nomination.
Makes sense.
Only one? His boss has employed subcontractors who used hundreds, maybe thousands. Perpetual hypocrisy.
The back taxes are the FICA taxes which must be paid on ALL household employees who work more than a certain number of hours per month, even if their parents came over on the Mayflower. The employee needs a social security number so the employer can pay the taxes. The discussion should focus at least as much on the fact that this would-be Labor Secretary would have been breaking an important labor law by not paying those taxes even if the employee was eligible to work in the US. So “I didn’t know she was undocumented, and when I found out I made it right” does not get him off the hook.
I’d say they either paid her cash, or they gave her checks. To pay her as an independent contractor, she would need a W-9 and they would give her a 1099. For her to get a W-9 she would have to use a fake ID, and we would know about that. So I am thinking they either just paid her cash or a check. Also possible they bartered on occasion (“nice job this week, do you need a 55” flat screen TV?", etc.).
I’d like to know where they got the list, because chances are its some right wing bs like breitbart or inforwars.
It’s infowars. I think the WaPo has that link.
The (large) portion of the Republican base that wants to “send them back” and want to “build that wall” should be outraged about this. But, of course, they won’t be.
Ummmmmmmmmm…so now you got caught, you knew ‘nothing about it’, you won’t do it again and you’ll NAIL those bastids that do ANYTHING like you did. Got it. Why don’t I BELIEVE you?
Anyone surprised? Anyone surprised about anything regarding the tRump administration?
Plus he’s involved with numerous wage and labor violations in law suits filed by Hardee employees. What a great boss.
“My wife and I employed a housekeeper for a few years, during which I was unaware that she was not legally permitted to work in the U.S. When I learned of her status, we immediately ended her employment…”
Gee, I wonder how he “learned” her status.
