Discussion for article #243018

Sadly, this incident will not draw the press following that it should, because a policeman died, rather than some scumbag thug.

We expect scum bag thugs to kill people under dubious circumstance, we do not expect the police to do so.

Sheriff’s Lt. John Corina says c was in the driver’s seat of his
personal vehicle when two suspects ran up and opened fire late
Wednesday. The five-year department veteran died in the car.

The article doesn’t give the cop’s name.

Well if the police would stop killing unarmed “thugs” maybe that would help but when three cops in Washington state back in April, in daylight, killed (firing 17 rounds) an unarmed Mexican orchard worker who was throwing rocks at them, maybe then police tragedies would get the appropriate coverage.
