Discussion: Kushner Says He Had Only 4 Encounters With Russian Officials, No Collusion

Will he “revise” this statement thirty-nine times as well?

How many more “encounters” will he remember next month?

Thing is, maybe he didn’t and maybe he did. Given the actions compared to words of everybody in the campaign and administration, why should anybody believe it at this point?

Also, there is evidence of collusion already. The strong desire to collude was there at the least. They met with individuals on that basis. That in and of itself is collusion. The fact that the crime fell through is not an excuse.

It wasn’t me, it was my assistant that screwed it. it wasn’t me, they cane to me i’m just an innocent bystander. it wasn’t me, the Secret Service said it was no big deal.

Kind of reminds me of the Shaggy Song

Where are the tapes of the meetings?

Where are the Trump and Kushner email server’s?

Where are the phone records?

Kushner is lying scum bag just like his father-in-law and our illegitimate so called President.

Why isn’t the press going after all the things the Republicans convinced them to chase all the years of Clinton…which all proved to be nothing but Russian fake news and propaganda!

It was merely a close encounter of the Russian kind.

Wow. Who else received blackmail threats from guccifer. Who was the Secret Service Agent Kushner states he reported it to. Did Kushner discuss the threat with anyone else. Is this threat a one-off or is Trump genuinely being blackmailed by Russia as I write this.

How does Kushner define “back channel.” Does Kushner have a backbone since he feels that when the Russian ambassador is “insistent” he has to do what he says. Does he always do what the Russians “insist” on? What’s this about the Russian banker “knowing” Trump? Was Kushner aware that these two had a relationship? What does he know about that relationship?

Let’s not worry about whether Kushner is lying. What he is telling us straight out is bad enough once you penetrate the skilled lawyering.

His presence at the June 2016 meeting demonstrates collusion. Not reporting Junior’s email chain to the FBI is collusion by omission.

He either has a very bad lawyer, or he is ignoring their advice.

I think its a combination of the two. I personally believe his first lawyer quit because he made it known that he plans to go with perjury as his path forward. He WILL lie to Congress today; this statement is confirmation of that. I mean, lets face it, the morning before his testimony he is releasing a statement confirming he perjured himself…yet AGAIN…and had a 4th undisclosed meeting with Russians.

Lets be clear on this timeline. He originally lied on his first form, saying he had no foreign contacts, owed no foreign entities money and misstated his assets. Then when it came to light that he had met with Russians, he admitted to 1 meeting. Then when it came to light that was a lie, he admitted to 3 meetings with Russians. And over a hundred other foreign entities. Then he admitted he lied AGAIN and declared over $1 billion owed to foreign entities, including over $300 million in his own name. And suddenly remembered a few hundred million in undisclosed assets, (including foreign bonds). Now the day before he goes before Congress, he admits to yet another meeting with Russians.

And he is going with the “I don’t remember, I don’t recall” defense, combined with "I am just really incompetent and overwhelmed’ as a supporting defense. And, a man who has proven to perjure himself multiple times in just 6 months, will only testify to Congress if he doesn’t have to be under oath.

Oh, and lets not forget…the position he holds in the government is in blatant disregard for anti nepotism laws that were put in place specifically to stop a President from hiring family, all under some nonsensical claim that because he isn’t compensated (he is), it isn’t nepotism.

My guess is, he is going to lie his lily white ass today, and he will be caught doing so within 2 weeks. And he will once again try to “amend” his testimony after the fact. Because why wouldn’t he? He has suffered no consequences with that approach yet.

This explanation of the ‘secret back channel’ allegation is totally plausible. Another case where the leaks have omitted context to give the impression of something suspicious when the reality is completely innocuous.

The whole letter just strikes me as weasel-y.

Ummmm… Yeah. Because as an American, your first thought after saying you don’t have secure communication equipment in your office is to tell the Russian (whom you’ve only met a couple of times, briefly, and exchanged only pleasantries with, remember) that you’d like to go use his embassy equipment. Bypassing the million Federal buildings available in New York and D.C…

Ummmmm… No. Doesn’t pass the laugh test.

Phone records? How many hundreds of phone calls?

Messengers working for little Jared…including Mikey Flynn and Case and even Manafort

Emails? Where are the email server’s?

The Republicans obviously want none of the above trails to be reviewed…unlike not showing anything ilegal or wrong with Hillary, the Republicans know from their security briefings that Trump, Kushner, Sessions, Manafort, Flynn, Case, Trump’s personal lawyer, Mikey Pence, Rudi Giulliani, Steve Bannon, Sean Hannity, and several others were working with the Russians to defeat Hilary at any cost including treason!

Impeach Trump and Pence must be impeached as well…and a new election must be held. Paul Ryan will pardon Trump and we’ll never clean up the mess. Just like Gerald Ford pardoned Nixon and that never should have been allowed to happen.
