Discussion: Krauthammer: Obama Politicized Oregon Massacre While 'The Bodies Are Still Warm' (VIDEO)
Shorter Krauthammer: I look forward to the time when there are warm bodies everyday and we never have to discuss this topic again.
And another of the “routine” comments in support of gun lunacy by another usual suspect, the repulsive Krauthammer.
Well, Krauthammer’s body reached ambient years ago.
You are absolutely right Mr. Krauthammer. And how dare President George W. Bush politicize 9-11 when bodies were still being pulled from the rubble and how dare FDR politicize the attack on Pearl Harbor by declaring war on Germany and Japan the next day. The time for action, the time to galvanize political will is some time later!!!111!!!11OnE1111!!!!
Every day we wait to talk about gun violence in America is another day with gun violence in America.
We can’t wait. The problem is real, and it needs a real solution.
Prevention, protection, safety and responsibility. If you’re not arguing how to improve those four issues, you’re not helping.
Pathetic
Warm bodies. Cold bodies. Legal gun. Illegal gun. Does it really matter Chuck? Close to 90,000 killed by guns since Sandy Hook and America doesn’t do a thing because it is a POLITICAL ISSUE! Gutless politicians are owned by the gun lobby.
Krauthammer politicized Benghazi while the Ambassador’s body was still warm.
My solution to gun control. The Federal Government should provide to every American who can not afford a gun a free, American made gun. We will call them “Obamaguns” Surely the NRA and Republicans in Congress can get behind this proposal.
And with more guns, we will be safer. “Obamaguns” for everyone!
Has anyone else noticed the Chicago talking point? It’s mentioned in this interview, Huckabee mentioned it, most conservative commenters on articles about the shooting have mentioned it. I’m curious where they get that talking point so quickly but more so in their intent. Is it because it’s Chicago (and thus connected to Obama by association)? Is it assumed to be black-on-black violence? (I’ve seen some rightwing commenters say his “silence” on those shootings proves he doesn’t really care about “Black Lives” and thus he’s the true racist…) Chicago’s gun restrictions (that one comes up all the time…without any discussion of how easy it is to buy outside of Chicago and esp. in neighboring states)?
There were 50 shootings in Chicago over the weekend for the second straight weekend in a row. Why didn’t the President go out and make a statement then?"
Not a bad idea. Every President should call for a moment of silence every time another hundred are added to the gun death toll.
Krauthammer stills looks like the Vulgarian Kid Catcher in the movie Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
I question whether Krauthammer’s body is still warm. His soul is cold as an iceberg.
Well Chucky Cheese we know all about the last umpteen shootings so now that those bodies are cold can we talk about them? What the hell is wrong with you?
Truly. With mass shootings every week for the last two years, when would there not be warn bodies?
PS - not to be harsh, but usually dead bodies are cold pretty soon. And when can we talk about the previous dead bodies!
Was ein Arschloch.
Just think how well handing out “Obama Guns” to all the poor people in the Ghettos will play in the lilly-White blue-collar suburbs. They will suddenly only support "Registered " gun owners and will demand Government IDs to get your “Freedom Gun” and won’t accept a gun permit as voter ID.
Hypocritical as always.
Same fucking playbook. Someone roll this fucker down a flight of stairs already.
Shut up. Needed gun policy changes are not dependent on the latest massacre, you cretinous idiot. Oh, but wait, in their infinite wisdom Congress critters won’t fund collecting data on gun violence. I am enraged by the lack of action by the 1% occupying Congress. What a waste of space Congress critters are…mostly Republicans but not always.
Hawaii where they have effective gun laws has the lowest number of gun deaths:
In Hawaii as of 2005 approximately 9.7 percent of the households had guns and the gun death rate per 100,000 was 2.71.
Alaska had the highest gun deaths:
In Alaska as of 2005 approximately 60.6 percent of the households had guns and the gun death rate per 100,000 was 19.95 .
Meanwhile elsewhere:
In 2011, the gun death rate in the United Kingdom was 0.23 per 100,000 and in Australia the gun death rate was 0.86 per 100,000. (Data for these countries is available at GunPolicy.org, hosted by the Sydney School of Public Health at the University of Sydney in Australia.)
