Discussion: KKK Group Clarifies Ala. Chief Justice Not A Klansman After 'Call To Arms'

Let’s see: Religious fervor, flag, parade in disguise, kidnappings, lynchings and beheadings. Is this the Klan or ISIL?

I’m having trouble conjuring sympathy for such collateral damage in light of the direct and collateral damage the rest of us are suffering on a regular basis, but fair enough point.

This is completely different. The people under those hoods are white Americans.

They believe in the Constitution as originally written, especially the three-fifths part.

For Roy Moore and his ilk, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the Klan is both exciting and required.

Wearing a Halloween costume and keeping your face covered has always been for me the measure of the man.

I bet the KKKlanners are more likely to own AK-47s than these guys…

I’ve always wondered why this guy didn’t wear his hooded cape while presiding over the AL Supreme Court? Looks like the cat’s out of the bag now?

What say we take the view of law enforcement when they roust the wrong person: “Well, even if he didn’t do this, he’s guilty of something.”

Am I in a time machine and, having hopped out, finding myself in the late 50’s?? Gee, not long ago, before I got into the time machine, folks were complaining about Obama’s remarks about people having perverted Christianity for their own ends…

I’ve got a vision of James Taylor singing “You’ve Got A Friend” that I just can’t remove…

That’s soooo last week. If Moore had been a member of the Klan, when he admitted that he had gay friends I’m sure he would have been drummed out, toot sweet.

It sure is odd that a bunch of Democrats would stand in solidarity with Chief Justice Moore against marriage equality. I know these Klansmen are Democrats because virtually every story about the Klan comes with a post by a Know-Nothing right-winger who reminds the reader that the KKK was founded by Democrats.

Brent Waller via TPM:

The UDWK [United Dixie White Knights] has read many posts in the media put out mostly by Homosexual reporters and Atheists that claim Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore is a member of the KKK … We simply agree with anyone, who stands against Tyranny, stands for the word of God, and believes in the American Constitution as it was originally written …

I just want to let all the “Homosexual reporters and Atheists” know that this straight agnostic stands with them in Tyranny and against God. You guys throw the best parties.

(Seriously, how can anyone in the 21st Century still think homosexual and atheist are slurs?)
