Discussion for article #240238

I wonder if that same crowd will be there tomorrow to cheer her on when she goes back to jail?

I’ve been saying this for ages now: these people don’t use themselves to glorify God, they use God to glorify themselves.

This woman is exhausting. She’ll be back in jail before the weekend. But at least Cruz and Huckabee are hitching their wagon to her star; they’ll look as stupid as she does when she defies yet another court order.

Say what you will about most people, even a lot of those who agree with her position. They know you don’t just go around disobeying direct court orders. Her well of sympathy should soon run dry.

Huckabee… vowed to go to jail in Davis’ place

Outstanding! I second the motion!

They won’t look stupid. They will be affirmed in their belief that the “GOVERNMENT” is waging a war against Christianity.

Her strip mall lawyer was just on MSNBC. From his defiant tone, Kimmi will be back in jail within a week. This time, Judge Bunning will throw her under the jail.

(On the bright side, this will give the jail commissary time to restock Moon Pies and Diet Mountain Dew)

Huckabee does know she’s a Democrat, right?

Huck’ll take up with anyone who believes in the lord god almighty, amen.

Me too. Overused and dated. If the Clinton campaign used “Don’t Stop Thinking About Tomorrow” again…I’d feel the exact same way. It won’t be the least bit nostalgic in a good sense. It would just be a really dumb idea.

Even when they diddle their little sisters. I was surprised to see none of the Duggars at today’s Klavern meeting.

Yep. Its called a Self Fulfilling Prophesy. These assholes know a lot about prophesy, don’t they?

Agreed. The vast majority of adults understand that if a judge orders you to do something, you pretty much have to do it or you’re very likely to go to jail. This isn’t one of those complicated, nuanced political issues that the average Joe tunes out. It’s plain and simple. She’s trying to stop total strangers from getting married and she’s defying a judge’s order, as well as the SCOTUS. Outside of the GOP, I don’t think she’ll find much sympathy.

If we’re going retro, I recommend “Gimme, Gimme, Gimme” by Abba. Or anything by Abba. But that’s just me.

What about Joan Jett’s cover of “You Don’t Own Me.” Oh the irony!

By next week, Kimmi will be singing the Rolling stones’ Mother’s Little Helper
