Bardstown is actually a beautiful little historic town. My Old Kentucky Home is located there. Many bourbon distilleries. Home of the Kentucky Bourbon Festival. Nice little place really.

Fenwick reportedly rammed one of their vehicles before being detained.
While struggling with the other deputy, Fenwick was shot, according to
the station.
People shot while resisting police officers that violently seldom seldom spark protests, even if black. This sheriff must have a great big chip on his shoulder to inject race into this incident.
Sounds like he couldn’t resist blurting it out, even though it wasn’t really germane to the incident at hand.
