I would expect to find this on rawstory rather than here.

Another day of “in your face” in 45’s America. You just get so tired of this crap…

I’ll give this young lady credit, this stunt was a lot more attention grabbing than simply submitting a resume and headshot to Fox news.

By this woman’s logic the four students killed on May 4th 1970 should have been packing heat and returning fire. Just think of what the Ohio National Guard and Governor “Big Jim” Rhodes would have done.

Hmm … Not arrested. Not shot. Smells like White Privilege.

Nothing says “look at me!!” than a short skirt and assault rifle. Oh but she says is not an assault rifle and the rate of fire is the same of a handgun… so I don’t know about guns and have no right to talk about it…

Truly, it is religious iconography.

I attended Kent state and lived a few miles away in 1970 when this happened. The attitude in the community then was that the students “got what they deserved” I guess she wants the students to be able to return fire? I guess she majored in rubbing salt in old wounds?

CSNY would have had to rewrite “Four dead in Ohio.”

Pretty obvious, she just graduated, has no job, so she is auditioning to be hired by Fox or a lobbyist for the NRA.

This child is apparently completely clueless about the entire college protest movement that sparked the actions of the trigger-happy Ohio National Guard that day. I would advise her she would be further ahead if she went to the Kent State administration and asked for her tuition money back - clearly the University failed to teach her anything about an important historical event that occurred right on the ground she walked every day.

She seems nice.

If she was black and wanted to dance getting her diploma she’d have been man handled off the stage.

I listened to her on the Fox interview. She’s an alt-right dimwit, and a proud member of Trump’s white trash amerika.

With the gun carried that way, it looks like it would in fact be pretty easy to take it.

Lends new meaning to the phrase “photo shoot.”

She thinks there is a constitutional right to openly carry a firearm in public. Even in the old West laws against this were enforced. Yet she behaves like a child.
To paraphrase Veruca Salt in Willie Wonka “Daddy I want a howitzer, I want it now!”
