If you’re going on the campaign trail with Trump you have to be able to lie.

When Kemp was faced with the choice of appearing on stage with a White Man or a Black Woman…

… he made an unsurprising choice.

Way to fail the job interview, numbnuts. If you can’t face your electoral opponent, how can you possibly make hard decisions about vitally important topics?

After seeing Kemp on the Teebee a few times I came to the conclusion “He is one creepy cracker.”

And suddenly there was a run on chicken suits in the greater Atlanta area…

This is a smart move by Kemp. When he loses, he’ll have the perfect scapegoat.

The one candidate I want most to win is Stacy Abrams. In addition to being an amazing person, her winning in Georgia, despite the most blatant voter suppression this century, might finally convince the GOP that their only option to stay relevant is to join the 21st century and stop fighting the battles from the 1960’s.

The shellacking I am hoping for on November 6 includes many candidates, but especially Stacey Abrams, Beto O’Rourke, Tony Evers, and Andrew Gillum for a “maximum stinging.”

The fucking nerve. Not only did HE pull out of the pre-scheduled debate, he then blamed HER for doing so.

“Kemp attempted to reschedule the debate,”

Really? I don’t doubt that he mumbled something to that affect, but this statement is so implausible as written that we need to know what Kemp actually said, offered, pretended. I’m pretty sure he didn’t attempt to reschedule the debate. This statement is just carrying his water for him, and makes TPM sound like AP.

Naa, in his eyes, the real job interview will take place on a stage with the president. To that crowd, the debate doesn’t matter, what matters is how many times he can lead a crowd in chanting CNN Sucks and Lock Her Up.

He and a percentage of his voters probably think just being on the same stage (or even in the same building) as Abrams would be seen as elevating her to his level.

I’m sure the suggestion was to reschedule the debate for the day after Secretary of State Kemp introduces Governor Kemp to the state. Then Candidate Kemp can skip the debate and call it irrelevant.

Maybe I’m being overly optimistic, but I do think crushing losses this year and in 2020 would force a hollowed out GOP to at least try to change. Unfortunately, I don’t think their voters will let them. You can change who leads the party, but it won’t make a damn bit of difference if the voters keep supporting and electing hatemongers.

I’m just gonna say it… I want the damn Senate. People keep acting like the Senate is definitely staying in Republican hands, but I’m not sure what polling they’re looking at that had them so confident. The only trailing Democratic Senate candidate polling outside the margin of error is Heitkamp and that’s apparently a really tough state to poll.

I am completely with you on this. While I am not optimistic about the Senate, it is clearly the key to whether the next two years are survivable. House Democrats will be stonewalled at every turn, because the GOP would much rather trigger a Constitutional crisis than face a fair accounting. With the Senate and the keys to confirmations, though, I think the Democrats can overwhelm the White House.

Trump really had quite the endgame planned out, the problem was that his murderous bedfellows in Saudi Arabia, Florida, and Pennsylvania upstaged him. Lie down with the jackals, wake up with… those same jackals?
