Oh Kelly, you had me at “Insane for Trump”.
Kellyanne is spinning so severely that she’s become dizzy and incoherent!!
Maybe if the electoral college threw in the Emmy he thinks he deserves for Celebrity Apprentice he might accept the will of the American people.
Favorite moment for me: “Donald thinks belittling women makes him bigger” and then as if to prove Hillary Clinton is right “Such a nasty woman.”
@brooklyndweller When he said “I’ll keep you in suspense” that only told us he wanted to keep the spotlight on himself for as long as possible. He may intend to make a lot of noise about the results based on imaginary voter fraud the result of which he thinks he can contest but he can’t because he’ll need party apparatus to do so. He sees his days on the stage waning. “Attention must be paid” h/t Willie Loman.
@geofu54 I could see scummy Ricky P. hiring her when he runs against Cruz for his senate seat. Cruz, Perry, both scummy Texans.
Oh sweetikins’…
#THE RESULTS ARE IN:
I was about to reply in the same vein. I think this might be the first time I have heard a Republican say the Supreme Court decided who would be, not the voters. I’m sure others have, but I don’t remember any.
Insane? That ship has sailed.
It’s so obvious they don’t know what they are doing. Kellyanne is such a lightweight. #sad
I sincerely hope nobody will hire that scum after the election.
Oh, forget her. Let’s listen to some music instead.
This is the exceedingly gracious letter George H.W. Bush wrote to his successor Bill Clinton as he conceded the election.
Rigged, I tells ya!
That is a gracious letter. Somehow, I can´t imagine Trump writing that. Or really writing anything.
Even imagining him writing checks to contractors is a stretch.
To the extent that the big orange loser would send anything, let’s just say I wouldn’t expect any words on it - just a smear that would have to promptly be disposed of as medical waste.
Conway is being deceitful. There’s a big difference between exercising the right to a recount and claiming rigging or fraud. The former is a right built into the election statutes in most, if not all states, where the vote is close and is designed to insure accuracy in the count. Where results are close, this is perfectly appropriate.
What Trump is alleging is that the election itself is fraudulent. That’s unprecedented and has nothing to do with what Al Gore and the Democrats, and the Republicans with Bush, did in Florida in 2000, which was a recount issue.
Conway’s not stupid and she knows, or should know, better. She’s being dishonest here, for a change.
Thanks, Matt! That´s fantastic!
And a French band. I forget that the French come by their love of jazz naturally. They´ve been at it a long time. @mattinpa
Stephane Grappelli has a record called Shades of Django which I cherish.
It is indeed a great letter, but I think Gore set the gold standard for concessions.
There’s stuff by both I like better but the title was part of the package. : )
“Insane’ For Trump To Say He’d Accept Results Before Election”
Really? Then I guess we can expect him to agree any time now.
For crying out loud. He wasn’t asked to concede. He was asked whether he would respect the results, and he refused to commit. What he is saying is that he can only accept an election depending on who comes out the winner, and not on the process. That’s not democracy, and Conway knows it. But I guess it’s too late when you’ve already sold yourself.
