Those of us who have worked in the top echelon of business and government understand Ms Conway was in the wrong. You don’t speak to the principles unless you are first spoken to…yes, just like a manservant or maid.
In many places what Conway did would be a career or promotion killer. But not in this White House where trumping up faux butthurts is the way to keep your job. She would not have spoken to Leader McConnell that way.

Exactly! What I think is going on is that she wants Pelosi to engage her so that they can negotiate some kind of deal that she can then take back to PP and sell to him. Pelosi won’t do it. She’s not going to get trick rolled by this president when he then backs out of whatever deal she made with Conway. That’s what’s got her all up in her feelings. Conway knows it’s monumentally stupid to ward off all legislation especially on a campaign promise such as infrastructure. She knows he’s handed the Dems yet another victory and a talking point, so she’s trying to get Pelosi to come to the table to talk to her so that she can then feed it to Big Baby Fat Ass.

Totally agree. I worked for Congress and a major Department over my years. Staff is staff and the principles are in charge because they are the only ones with a voice and a vote. That’s the only way it can work or chaos reigns. Protocol matters so everyone is playing by the same rules. The fact that KAC doesn’t know this speaks to the dysfunction of the WH as much as to her overinflated sense of importance. I think it was polite that Madame Speaker even responded to that hack.
