And the bridges are all falling apart because the cheap-ass GOPers refuse to pay for maintenance, repairs, or infrastructure - unless the bridges are being used to create traffic jams and harass constituents.

I’m a registered Independent, who many, many years ago was a moderate Republican. I can’t stand the current bunch of GOTP wackos. Seems to me that the best among the worst is Kasich. It looks right now like the GOP convention is going to be brokered, in which case the nominee will likely be Kasich or Rubio or an even darker horse. However, I want Trump or Cruz to get the nomination, because what the USA needs right now is an historic landslide including down-ticket elections that sweeps all the GOTP cockroaches out of office.
I believe that it’s still OK for this old man to dream.
As smart as Trump thinks he is, he’s demonstrated his aggravated assholiness often and alienated himself from too many constituencies to win an election. Cruz also thinks that he is highly intelligent, and he may well be, but he is a “principled” asshole that cannot compromise and I don’t know anybody that would buy a used car from him. (Yes, I remember that election cycle, too.)

Kaisch never had a chance with either group of GOP voters anyways. Besides, it’s never a hard choice or bad idea to stick up for a religious figure over a WWE Hall of Fame recipient.
The Lord tends to side with those He chose to lead and “fires” anyone who questions His judgment.
Keep your $100 bills out of the communion plate, Donald. You can’t buy your way into heaven after some of the notoriously bigoted things you’ve said. Pandering to the Devil’s Disciples with feigned outrage just makes you look ridiculous. You should be apologizing to the Lord.

Trump is fooling himself thinking he can call out this Pope. Even very conservative, orthodox Catholics will feel they must defend their pontiff. At the same time it’s going to sicken any moderates who are still voting Republican.
It just shows how stupid Trump is. You don’t bite off more than others are willing to chew. Political Reality 101.
