I was betting on Cruz being the one to toss it aside, right after the polls closed in Indiana. I guess Kasich had the same thoughts.

Its the Prisonerā€™s Dilemma playing itself out, over and over again, throughout this campaign. They are too greedy personally to ever make a deal to prevent Trump from winning.

As a lifelong Hoosier, I firmly believe that Trump will win Indiana regardless of whatever agreement Cruz and Kasich have hatched. If Trump wins Indiana, he will almost certainly be the nominee. An excellent result for Hillary!

Kasich: I am 1 for 41 in the primaries; I donā€™t know why I am in this race but I like attention being given to me. It will make my next gig at Goldman Sachs more attractive.

Kasich should not trust a thing Lyin ā€™ C-Section Born Cruz says. Heā€™s in the race and should compete with ideas for the hearts and minds of Republicans. He should not be running simply to collude to trip Trump.

I think this is an important thing to remember. The current generation of republicans has been raised on the notion that greed is good, personal advancement is all, and putting yourself second for the good of the team is a chumpā€™s move. And now, when they need to unite against a common enemy (ahem) they canā€™t do it.
