Discussion: Karl Rove: Utter 'Nonsense' Republicans Want To Impeach Obama

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

A significant portion of Tea Partiers call themselves independents.

Yep. You canā€™t wrestle a recalcitrant scapegoater. Everybody gets muddy but the recalcitrant scapegoater likes it.

This is using the Repubsā€™ own strategy against them. The more they use the word ā€˜impeachā€™, even in a negative context, along with the word ā€˜republicanā€™ (republicans arenā€™t going to impeach), it imprints those two words (republicans impeach) into the publicā€™s mind. The negative becomes meaningless. Excellent!

Who?! Has been elected to office or something?!

Karl says thereā€™s no way to get the 67 votes necessary to impeach but that doesnā€™t mean impeachment wonā€™t be their first order of business in 2015.

The House didnā€™t need a simple majority, much less 67 GOP Senate votes to repeal ACA more than 50 times. The only thing that will stop GOPers from wasting millions more is a Democratic majority in the House and Senate.

Rarely has there been a face which I would enjoy punching more than this ratfcker. He is a traitor, a liar and an absolute disgrace. In a perfect world, he would have killed himself a long time ago; sadly, heā€™s still here, breathing perfectly good air the rest of us could be using. He is truly one of the worst stains on the mattress left by C Plus Augustus and Darth Chaney. I wonā€™t pray for his death, but I certainly look forward to reading his obituary.

Someone this delusional should not be walking around unescorted. Doesnā€™t O-Care cover schizophrenia?

Cmon Rove, the grift NEEDS impeachment. Damnit man, stand on principle! Now that a darky have been elected President, where does it end? Wimmen? A non-Cruz wetback? Teh Gayz? Impeachment is yā€™allā€™s only hope of ending this travashamockery. GO FOR IT.

The fact that it would put baggernuts in the electoral wilderness for at least one political generation is just collateral damage.

The GOP adopted those ignorant children who are demanding impeachment. Now they want to disown them. In the end, the GOP will have the worst of both worlds; The idiots who will stay with them and embarrass everyone in the party and the idiots who will refuse to vote for anyone who is not also an idiot. You can watch the clown car for 2016 filling up.

The total falseness of this Rove, banker, corporatist stupid allegation can be found streaming across any of the right wing websites. Even Politico and MSNBC filled up with fire and brimstone comments demanding impeachment, imprisonment or hanging of the President on every story by the business GOP trying to make it look as though impeachment was Obamaā€™s idea.

Karl Rove is actually useful in one way - when he starts crapping his pants over something Dems are doing itā€™s a sure sign that itā€™s working. A careful reading of the article suggests he is telling Republicans to knock it off, and just couching it in his ā€œutter nonsenseā€ language. And that would make sense because itā€™s lose-lose-for the GOP. The more anyone brings up impeachment the more some core Obama supporters get riled up in defense of the president. Conversely, it makes people like Boehner run out and say they have no plans to impeach, which gets his base angry at the leadership because they not only want Obama impeached theyā€™re holding out for drawing and quartering. So keep up the chatter folks, a panicky Karl Rove is always a good thing.

Obviously the safest place for a pad of butter is Karl Roveā€™s mouth. If it can stand the stench of Brimstoneā€¦

They lie even to themselves.
