Karl Rove: Necromancer of inept U.S. presidents.
This is turning out to be an epic tolling of the GOP by Obama.
BOOOYA!!!
You know I suspect the reason Rove was so confused about Ohio in 2012 was because he expected some funny business with the voting machines that somehow didn’t materialize.
The repugnant porcine is busy editing his book to catch up with the renaming of the namesake mountain.
Since McKinley is from OHIO, maybe THAT state should find an alternative way to honor him. Not name a mountain he never saw, in a place he never was…after him. In fact, Alaska was not even a state when they changed the name of the mountain to McKinley.
Surely there must be a toxic pond in Ohio that can named after McKinley.
No, he just was in denial because he had a lot of “'splaining” to do to all those people he talked into giving him all that money.
Aha, so Bush read a book titled “95” and W read one titled “100”?.. Well, I have to give the edge to Bush, his had a longer title… Hmmm, or maybe they were talking about the total number of pages they had ever read?..once again…edge Bush…
It could also be that bush read My Pet Goat every day for about three months.
Is this going to be a ghost written book like oreilly’s latest tome “Killing Reagan”? Perhaps rove wrote the book because he views himself as a modern day Mark Hanna.
One put the “i” in the right place. As opposed to Bush’s monomania.
So great - Americans will now know less about McKinley than they already do.
(BTW, I can hear it now: "News: Obama changes name of mountain. ROVE: Somebody get me a author quick! I’ve got to write a book!)
My great grandfather was commissioned to make a silver and gold inlaid portrait of McKinley, and it was presented to him in the White House. (For some reason, the Finns in the northern US were really into McKinley.) I always wondered what happened to it. Maybe Ham can tell me.
In Rove’s defense, McKinley’s presidency was highly influential on our country… just not in a good way. He’s the reason why we have to argue with idiots who claim that the Republican party can’t be racist because they ended slavery. I’ll let Sarah Vowell explain: http://thedailyshow.cc.com/videos/1yq9zk/sarah-vowell
I can just see his Megyn Kelly interview. “Is it the kind of biography that’s authentically researched or is it the kind of book you write to make yourself feel good about yourself?”
I was hoping he would write a book about war criminals he’s known and how they have so far eluded the world court.
Make himself look relevant again? Although, I’d think a book about how he attained his proficiency in rape and hip hop would be more interesting.
Called it.
