Hate to break it to Ms. Yates but there never should’ve been private prisons in the first place.

I’m not sure I agree with you. If the contracts had been properly written, with definite results defined and required, we might have seen something very different.

I disagree. Anything relating to the criminal justice system, especially incarceration, should NEVER be outsourced. Treating it as a for-profit enterprise only invites — I’d say ensures — abuses.
