Dobbs is the stand-in here for Rupert Murdoch and his fashionable Aussie fascism. Can’t get rid of him until he is caught in bed with a young boy or a dead girl. Not even Lou’s phony hair color seems to relegate him to the sidelines. Weird.

My ccoonhound shares chez darr with two humans and 3 cats. One is a tuxedo cat who is da boss at 19 pounds on a 10 pound cat frame. He followed a previous cat we had in the door like he already lived here. That was 17 years ago. The other 2:… one was rescued out of a hoarders house at 4 weeks of age, the other cat is completely feral and will not tolerate direct eye contact for more than a few seconds and no touching please. But all 3 are close buds with the dog. Go figure.

some years ago on pbs was a special on how pets pulled their humans out of depression or into recovery from illness. The dogs were all types - but without exception, all the cats were tuxedo cats. makes ya think.

We used to have a Red Bone Coonhound and a Springer Spaniel. They died within a month of each other. Our Tuxedo insisted on what I call “lap time” which consisted of 10-15 minutes of this hefty boy in my lap no matter what it was I was doing. Especially if I was typing. Which is not an easy maneuver. It did lessen sadness. Here he is admiring his image. And he really is that fat.

Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy, but it speaks volumes of fox that they only banned the prick after the second showing. They liked him fine until caught, it how it looks from here.
