We don’t let terrorists go free, do we?

Bundy told the judge Friday that he loves the United States and believes government plays an important role, particularly in providing national security. He said he respected the judge’s authority and would be back for all court proceedings.

Kissy-kissy, smooch-smooch! I hope Ammo like the taste of Federal Judge patootie!

What the heck do they teach these people in the Mormon temple’s? There’s more of these Mormon terrorists in the US than so called Islamic terrorists…

Time to start a surveillance program of all LDS temples…their stake Presidents and Grand Wizards are obviously teaching terrorism.

Yup, almost all the armed occupiers of Malheur are Mormons, many of them from the fundamentalist areas of Utah, Nev. and Arizona. Fantastic read about fundamentalist Mormon violence is Krakauer’s Under the Banner of Heaven. These folks believe they talk to God and that takes precedence over such trivialities as laws, at any level.

There. That takes the sting right off.

Would these folks be released if they had seized the refuge in the name of an armed Black Power movement? Or to start a western Caliphate? Or as the northern outpost of a new Aztlán?

If so, then they should be released. But if not, they should stay where they are. Claiming to speak for “the real America” shouldn’t get you any special privileges.

Let him take over a federal prison cell and occupy that for a while.

Even Wikipedia provides a good read. Google lying for the lord and have a fun afternoon’s reading.

All the Republican candidates should be asked whether this guy belongs in GITMO or not.

Oh please, his freaking father is still calling for a “to the death” standoff at the refuge. And we’re supposed to believe this asshole will be good once he’s out of jail?

When he doesn’t even acknowledge the court’s power in the first place? Fuck that noise.

Cliven Bundy claims to have sent a certified letter to Harney County Sheriff. I’ll bet Cliven Bundy claims to have done a lot of things he has never done and never intends to do.

Here’s a question for the lawyers - couldn’t all of them could also be charged with the murder of “LaVoy” were the state government so inclined?

What a pushover! Now he “loves” the government that he took up arms against?!?

Damn, what a change a couple of days in prison can do. Was his cell-mate a 300-lb guy named bubba or something?

Let him go. I just know he wants to throw himself back in harm’s way. He’d just love to die for such a great cause.

You guys will arrest someone for a little bag of weed and not let the person out of jail. This guy and his brain dead followers are all terrorist scum.

Not in Oregon, weed’s legal here and the Fed’s are looking the other way.

Idiot Bundy (one term seems to define the other) released a statement via his lawyer today. It is as clueless (and whining) as one might expect.

"Ammon Bundy – Malheur Wildlife Refuge Case

02.02.2016,11:30 AM – Ammon Bundy Statement: “Remaining protesters go home”.

THIS IS AMMON’S STATEMENT FOR TODAY – FEBRUARY 2ND:

Because of the restrictions of solitary confinement for 23 hours per day, I have not been able to speak to my father. I am requesting that the four remaining protesters go home now so their lives are not taken. This will allow the FBI and OSP to also go home and end their armed occupation of Burns and Harney County. Then, the Harney County Sheriff should cordon off the refuge as the citizens work on returning these lands back to the people of Harney County and the State of Oregon as prescribed in the constitution. It is simple: The land belongs to the people.

THAT IS THE END OF AMMON’S STATEMENT"
