And don’t get me started on activist judges who legislate from the bench to favor the world we live in over the profits of the petrochemical industry. The Founding Fathers clearly favored drilling in the Arctic outer continental shelf because the Constitution does not prohibit it.
Doesn’t the judge understand that this will upset the president. With the mental condition that Trump is in, There is no way of knowing what Trump will do. Now it will be the judges fault. How long must we live with these conditions?

Arctic offshore gas & oil production, as the Russians and Norwegians have found, is not cheap and not convenient. No executive order changes that. Of course, this may not be about traditional extraction, as much as undersea mining of clathrates. It is hard to imagine a more intrusive activity, but try and imagine mountaintop coal mining multiplied by 100 billion.
I happen to enjoy fish that come from up north and oil isn’t a part of my desired menu. Maybe trump likes that sort of back taste, I do not.

trump thinks himself a genius because he had an uncle who was a professor of engineering at MIT. He has said as much.
But…
Critical thinking was not covered in any of the classes he managed to attend at U. Penn. He likes to say he graduated from Wharton but there is not one shred of evidence that he either got an MBA or even got an undergraduate degree in anything at all. Until he releases his transcripts I will maintain he may have attended a few classes but did not graduate.
