Ha. Probably taking security tips from Giuliani.

Since his sister recently tweeted about all the thoughts and prayers the family was getting and then included the QAnon hashtag, I think it’s safe to say that none of them is going to change at this point. Nutty, conspiracy-minded wingnuts.

I wonder if he loses his military benefits?

Also makes no sense.

He got a call from the FBI asking to speak to him. Whether he guessed what it was truly about, whether they warned him that lying to them would be a crime — he was not an ingĂ©nue: as a former intelligence officer himself, he knew full well that lying to FBI agents would be a crime. In the words of his own lawyers:

General Flynn had for many years been accustomed to working in cooperation with the FBI on matters of national security

His lawyers also say that:

his cooperation was not grudging or delayed

It was delayed, by him, from January, 2017 until at least March. During this period he lied repeatedly to investigators. Only afterwards did he cooperate (for “approximately sixty-two hours and forty-five minutes”).

Dishonorable discharge at the least.

Now that seems a little counter-productive, doesn’t it? Why on earth place yourself and your brother inside that barrel?

Unless it’s her attempt to tie thoughts and prayers to QAnon.

Don’t anyone say Flynn was some exemplary military officer. He didn’t start being dishonest once he was out of the military. He, like a lot of tRumps team have been dishonest liars forever. I don’t feel sorry for him and think some jail time is mandatory.

The government uses that very argument as a sentencing enhancement where there is an abuse of a position of trust.

C’mon
stupid headline
really.

All eyes will be on the Daniel Patrick Moynihan federal courthouse at 11 a.m. ET when U.S. District Judge William Pauley explains how he squares these two depictions of Cohen—and hands down his sentence.

I assume that U.S. District Judge William Pauley will employ the Pauley Exclusion Principle to settle these divergent depictions of Cohen, as they cannot both be true simultaneously.

Considering Cohen’s large scale crime wave over a period of years, tax evasion and lying to the FBI, I don’t see the maximum sentence of five years before consideration of his confessions to be very much time at all. These are incredibly serious crimes and the extent of their reach remains as yet unknown. I think a five-year sentence sounds generous already, but I’ve always been a “throw the book at 'em!” type of guy.

Flynn is a TRAITOR who defiled his uniform and every service member in the U.S.

He should be in Leavenworth for life. His cooperation should spare him only the death penalty. The rest is noxious window dressing. He sickens all decent Americans.

OT: Hannity should retire his Confirmation Day photo as his Twitter avatar.

All the lying, shrieking, and rage spittle (and probably boozing) have aged him considerably. He’s a bloated wreck.
