Discussion: Judge Issues No Ruling In Trump Foundation Case

“I hear you,” Futerfas replied. “There’s never been a case like this.”

There’s a lawyer who knows pounding the table isn’t going to help his case all that much.

The science of accusations against Spanky is based on there being two types of matter: matter and doesn’t matter.

Apparently, every fraud, illegal act, lie, cheat, threat, and scam perpetrated by Spanky doesn’t matter.

Pounding the facts or the law isn’t going to work either. Maybe he can pound giuliani?

Or sand.

Then again, you never actually know what a judge is going to do.

Based on great financial reporting, we know the Trump Foundation is a corrupt joke. Waiting for the courts to decide it feels like not believing the storm raging outside your window until you check with the TV weatherman.

This would be sweet irony, provided Clinton v. Jones is treated as precedent. Can’t wait to see how this turns out.

Trump held a televised campaign event, urging donors to give money to the Trump Foundation, that in turn the foundation would give to veterans’ organizations.

It’s worth noting here that it wasn’t until the Washington Post’s David Farenthold* discovered that no donation — Toadglans was promising to personally donate $1M — was ever made and that the Trump Foundation AKA Sleazy Slush Fund Central finally relented and reluctantly made donations to various groups. No personal donation was ever made.

If this case ever goes to court The Lyin’ King is going to end up with a golden “L” (for “loser”) stamped into his forehead.

*Farenthold won a Pulitzer Prize in 2016 largely for his dogged reporting of the illegal machinations of his so-called Foundation.

Trump has always been sued and will be much, much more in the future whenever he leaves office. His presidency is just delaying the inevitable. He’s a Con Man and his methods have become far more transparent since taking office. It will be a lot easier to take him on now than before he started hiding within the White House behind the title.

That’s right. The lawsuit is against the Trump Foundation and its actions. Let it proceed.

The campaign stuff would be a serious charge but it seems that the thing violated charity rules when it was used as a piggy bank outside of that bubble too.

Politicians raining money for charity is fine, but raising money for your charity and then spending it on yourself seems a reach.
