This is the first I have read of this case. Interesting.

For some reason it reminded me of the money Laundering aspects of the New Yorker story about the Trump Company involvement in project in Azerbaijan that involved the Iranian Guard and Iranian oligarchs.

Donald Trump’s Worst Deal (New Yorker)

Rudy now has to answer who is paying him.

I guess you have to appreciate this judge’s due diligence in this matter…I just hope that if any untoward information surfaces pointing to a conflict-of-interest, he doesn’t keep that a big ole secret…and makes the appropriate public admonishment, maybe even going so far as to make the man to seek other counsel.

I already smell a rat involving these two working for Turkey. It seems these days most GOPers have no problem working at odds with the US, and on behalf of foreign dictators, autocrats and most plutocrats. I would suggest anything to do with Murkasey (waterboarding advocate) and Ghouliani (flaming opportunist) is probably already suspicious from the get-go.

has been held without bail since his March 2016 arrest in Miami after he arrived in the U.S. to take his wife and 5-year-old daughter to Disney World.

The Turkish TV commercial that never was:

Announcer: Hey, Reza Zarrab, you laundered hundreds of millions of dollars for Iranian businesses or Iran’s government from 2010 to 2015. What are you going to do now?

Zarrab: I’m going to Disney Wor … I want a lawyer!

And if anyone needs a mask, it’s Giuliani.
