Discussion: Judge Andrew Napolitano Finally Has Impeachment Fever

Hard to imagine a more incompetent party than the Democratic Party, but here we are!

Any time one of the the Baggernut faithful want to introduce articles… they can go ahead. Just do it before November… and Nancy Pelosi, be sure to drag the process out until at least 2016.

Also, if Obama was really born in Kenya. Also, if Obama really is amassing an army of brown people on the borders in order to (fill in paranoid racist fantasy here). Also, if Obama really did (insert vague assertions about something we should be outraged about) in Benghazi. Blah blah blah blah.

(1) When you resort to bestiality jokes you’re conceding that you lack an intelligent response.

(2) If a simple request for debate based on the the writing of the person and topic being discussed (Judge Napolitano/impeachment) is considered “thread jacking” that doesn’t say much about this forum.

(3) If Bush’s CIA was caught spying on the Senate committee overseeing allegations of CIA torture this comments section would be overflowing with support for any person trumpeting impeachment.

(4) Torture is one of the most serious violations of law and human rights. CIA Chief Brennan has admitted to lying about spying on the Senate committee investigating his agency. When will Democrats demand Brennan’s immediate firing and a thorough investigation (wherever it may lead) of this violation of the separation of powers?

(5) When debating Snowden’s leaked documents Democrats assured us that the NSA is subject to critical oversight from the congress. Yet now that it’s known that the Senate oversight committee was spied on by the CIA in a clear breach of the separation of powers Democrats are silent. Therefore, how can any reasoned person believe Democrats’ defense of oversight was anything other than a defensive talking point?

The Stephen Moore school of conservative punditry. Make shit up and hope no one on the panel knows enough to refute, when they do, sheepishly smile and laugh it off.

“Guess what? I got a fever. And the only prescription is more cowbell! I mean, more impeachment!”

He also went overboard on the hairplugs in his forehead.

So much for the meme that only Democrats are talking about impeachment, I think that one lasted all of three days.

Lol. If spending money to hurt the opposition is a crime, we need to throw RICO at the GOP and re-categorize it as a criminal organization.

Which “type of behavior”: The House filing frivolous lawsuits, or Obama trying to get things accomplished while members of Congress work 24/7/365 to obstruct him?

See, there’s where you lost everybody. Napolitano’s whole “case” is based on a big-ass “What if”. Darrell Issa’s been throwing “What If” scenarios at the wall since 2011 – about Benghazi and about IRS – and none of them have stuck. Neither does this. You can’t impeach someone on whether they MIGHT have committed high crimes and misdemeanors. You kinda have to have some idea of where that smoking gun is, and Napolitano doesn’t.

For another thing, Napolitano is not making a case here to impeach based on imaginary behavior; he’s commenting on the laughable grounds Agent Orange’s lawsuit is based on, which are facts (or, at least, actions) already in evidence. That’s the kind of “behavior” he thinks Obama should be impeached for. So please drop your Greenwald/Snowden fan-fictions for a minute and try to pay attention!

And evidence. Who needs pesky evidence? Picky, picky, picky!

Appetite Schmappetite, If there are legal grounds for impeachment, Congress is obligated to do it!
Stand up, Judge Andy! Take this to Your representative!

Napolitano is a fruitcake but he’s dead on correct here. Obama’s attempts at real governance for the common good are a real downer and he should be worse than Impeached … he should be Implumed!! The Baggers should get off their duffs and out of their padded cells and do something. Impeach Obama for crisakes!!!

Jeff & legs:

And here’s a guy who clearly loves the honorific “judge,” but evidently doesn’t know or care that the POTUS has not committed any impeachable offenses.
People will do or say anything to retain a role or a paycheck.
In this case it’s “judge” and “Fox pundit”.
Excuse me while I puke.

Smoke:

Evidence? We don’t need no stinkin’ evidence!

He’s also a 9/11 truther.

Musing perhaps that we are incredibly stupid, a commenter posits,
Are there any Obama supporters here willing to read Napolitano’s article and debate the case he lays out for impeachment?
Fuck no! Now, kiss off!
