Tricky business, tho - revenge. Hammurabians always experienced difficulties in getting to just the right, finely measured balance of which size, color, quality, age and context of eye was equivalent to which other eyes of whatever sizes, colors, qualities, ages and contexts. Takes a lot of hard work and many many centuries - the Assyrians never really did get it just right. Good luck to all of them in their endeavors this time; and don’t worry about occasional 4 or 500 year periods of persistent failure and the odd few decades of massed genocide: those are all naturally factored into such processes!
Tell me again why the US is supporting those who would topple the Syrian government? I don’t recall an ISIL/S presence there until after the chaos of “civil” war. Of course, they had no presence in Saddam’s Iraq either, before the US supported those who wanted to topple its government.
