Sean messed with the bull and got the horns. What an IDIOT!
Tonights Daily Show promises to be epic.
We all knew this was a mismatch but Jesus, that was like watching a guy get stomped four fifths of the way dead. Just unendingly brutal.
One of the better skewerings of a truly despicable character. Who deserves it and more. I really hope he has the nerve to reply and let Stewart gore him some more.
Of course, this will not affect either Insanity-Hannity or his audience one bit.
Sean’s audience wouldn’t be able to follow.
Not bad for a “comic hack” as Handy called him
Sean Hannity couldn’t be any more in love with himself. His sexual arousal at the sound of his own voice and the sight of his “I’m all that” look is so great, he doesn’t realize that he has no knowledge or intelligence to back it up. The fact that this clown can have a career is testament to the fact that conservative radio listeners (where this buffoon made his bones) are quite possibly, what we used to call when I was younger, slow.
One of my fondest memories is of the 2008 Presidential primaries. There were billboards all over Atlanta, featuring Hannity’s smirking face, and the slogan: “Stop Hillary Now!” Thank-you, Sean Hannity!
Obviously, Hannity will counter with another flag-bearing TV monitor and a larger lapel pin.
The difference between Hannity and Stewart is so stark. Hannity is just a blow hard; he attacks Stewart as a hack, but doesn’t show his audience anything that Stewart said about him. There’s no way – and this is classic Fox – that any of his viewers can evaluate for themselves whether Hannity’s characterization of Stewart was accurate.
Stewart, on the other hand, and this is the genius of his show, simply goes to the tape. Stewart doesn’t just claim that Hannity is a hypocrite, he has the 45 tape segments that prove it.
This point has been made often before, but the difference between Stewart and Fox, or between MSNBC and Fox, is that Fox just makes stuff up. It may be good enough for the audience, but they can’t be surprised when somebody calls them on it.
Jon, Jon, Jon, it’s time to remember Churchill’s dictum, “Never engage in a battle of wits with an unarmed man.”
Stewart really should go after Hannity’s lack of support for private property rights. It’s fundamental to conservative ideology . Roger Ailes has allowed one of their hosts to abandon them entirely. It’s like supporting communism and we all know it.
Top that, Sean Insanity!
Hannity wouldn’t exist if not for his lies and slime.
Jon Stewart is simply amazing. Thank God for him.
Remember the crowd Sean Hannity is speaking to - it’s not the crowd that watches the Daily Show. To Sean Hannity’s/Fox News’ crowd, Jon Stewart criticizing them is a good thing.
I think everyone realizes that the Fox news junkies are unreachable. That doesn’t mean that the buffoon Hannity shouldn’t be called out in the strongest possible terms.
Hopefully Hannity will focus today on the very sad backlash that poor white-supremacist Cliven has had to face for being such a voluble and wide-ranging KKK spokesman these last days.
Wasn’t it absolutely epic to watch? Just imagine, to make it fair, Stewart had half his brain tied behind his back too (t quote Rush).
