Actually I think that’s precisely what Rinse et al. did have in mind. We’ve seen them lie time and time again about Democrats over the years, why wouldn’t they do the same thing to one of their own, especially when they suspect he isn’t one of their own?

I’m sure the vast majority of GOP voters will fall in line. But if only 2-5% continue to reject him the Democrat wins in a landslide. It doesn’t need to be some mass exodus, a few % points in a few swing states and a few more in some pink states, and that could add up to a significant victory.

I don’t believe it for a minute Ralph. You just wait and see. The people who love him will but there are tons of republucans who won’t and who will stay home or maybe vote for HRC. When we have our nominee, our best campaigner in chief and all his surrogates will be out there and when the other folks find out about all of Trump’s fraud dealings, it will be a different story. Also Ralph our turnout will be far better than the media would have us believe. If Trump is such a shoe in why is the GOPer party in such a panic? And remember a larger swatch of the GOPer party is anti-Trump

Trump’s supporters are the base of the GOP, these are the people that vote every election, not just every 4 years. They’re not Democrats or independents, they’re conservatives and Republicans, overwhelmingly white males and outwardly racist, misogynistic and uninformed. THAT’s the GOP base and it has been their base since mid-Bush years.
