Donald Trump isn’t acting. This is who he is.
Oh, OK, now he doesn’t like Trump. Trump hasn’t changed a bit since Joe was his best buddy.
You broke it, you bought it.
Agree 100%, today’s Republican Party, and all their cowardly elected politicians need to be flushed down the drain. I want a Nixon style U.S. Congress, where, in 1974, Republicans actually stood up for what is right and showed Nixon the door out of the White House.
I think most Republicans in Congress got there and stay there term after term by the grace of old white male voters. They now have chosen Trump to lead them…right off the cliff and into the abyss of historical anachronism that the Republican Party has become.
And in case someone was sleeping last week and last night, Hillary Clinton just became our next president. Now, let’s make sure the House and Senate do not remain in the control of a Republican majority…that’s the only challenge before us until November 8, and with the Republican cowards in Congress now, it should be an easy challenge to conquer.
The only good Republican party…a destroyed Republican party. Whatever would spring up in its place, would be something much more stupid, dumber and ridiculous.
Good review of this past year in your post there!
As I recall, Morning Joke has had Donald Trump on more than two dozen times in person over the year, and has had another two dozen on-air phone calls with him.
Morning Joke made Trump what he is today, the Republican nominee, all for the sake of TV ratings for the Morning Joke show. Reality TV poisoning the well yet again, all for ratings.
Just shut the hell up Scarbs. So in your mind all Donald has to do is stop talking like a bigot and get elected. Stay in the closet Donald. You can be a bigot, but if you’re in the closet I can then safely vote for you. It pisses Joe off that now Donald forces people to act as if they have principles by disclaiming him for his racist remarks…he doesn’t care that he’s a bigot, he only cares that he’s gone public. Anyone who would vote for a person they know is a bigot just because they stay closeted during the campaign, has to be a bigot themselves by association.
It’s all good. It’s all broken now (Joe, Rush, Bill, et al). We’ve been waiting for your rescue, your wisdom. Sadly, you’ve essentially piled on. It’s enough to make a sentient being wonder whether you were sane all along.
Thanks for answering the question.
Joe has been selling the Republican Party for years instead of presenting objective news. I just love it when reality comes up and spits his lies back at him. Pop goes the bubble.
Exactly. I was thinking of this last night watching the returns come in on MSNBC. Nicole Wallace was trying to explain that the party ‘establishment’ were trying to support who their base voted for and were trying to sort through the bigotry and hate and insults to find the real message Trump was using to excite them all so much. But there was NEVER anything under the bigotry and hate and insults, this really is your base, you started cultivating it with Nixon’s Southern strategy, strengthened it with Reagan’s Moral Majority, and then put it on steroids by handing over the Republican party leadership responsibilities to Roger Ailes and Rush Limbaugh. Look around guys … Trump IS your party.
That whole fake-ass rant sounded like it came out of the worst actor in your local community theater, the guy they grudgingly give like two lines to because you don’t believe a word he says.
Alternate Headline: “Enabler Criticizes Maniac He Helped Create.”
The PROBLEM with the Republicans and Trump is they thought even if he got the nomination THEY (the really really really SMART ones in the party…) would be able to CONTROL The Donald. He would bring new white voters into the party (even if they were white nationalists etc) and win t he election. They could BLAME Trump for the scum in the party but run the Presidency the way they wanted. Trump could be their figurehead and keep ginning up fear and loathing but they would do the actual work of tearing down the country. Well SURPRISE…Trump isn’t controllable. Sorry peeps…you built the monster and Dr. Frankenstein is not running the show.
I saw something interesting last night. After Donald tried to do his impersonation of a sane person reading from a TelePrompTer, for the first few minutes, the media appeared to be trying to digest how they should feel about his painfully obvious attempt at shaking the etch a sketch. Then it seemed that one by one a light bulb went off in their heads and it hit them, “oh yeah, he’s an unrepentant racist.” Media and the public has amnesia but it ain’t quite that bad.
Oh my Joe Scar turning on Herr Drumpf. After giving the prick free publicity, softball interviews, and a total lack of any journalistic integrity towards the Drumpf campaign, NOW Joe starts bitching?
HA HA HA
LOL

This means Herr Drumpf will lose so badly in November, expect a super majority in the Senate and control of the House!
bush league loser! Well that is apropos…bush.
Why again does anyone care what morning blow has to say?
Meanwhile, I’m smiling. More popcorn please, as I wait for trumpets complete meltdown.
what does it say about media focusing on Joe’s Blowhard show when he first defended Fat Boy Christie on Bridgegate until that blew up and now Donnie Dimwit?
By loudly insulting everyone who calls him a bigot.
“Hey Donald, guess what, I’m not going to support you until you get your act together.“
But you are going to support him.
At what point does his behaviour actually become disqualifying for them? Is there a bridge that couldnt be unburned in their view?
They make these resolute statements about how Trump needs to take back his latest insult/ or dictatorial promise if he wants their vote. Trump simply moves on to some new vulgarity, and these limp putzes shuffle along behind shaking their woeful heads about their sad situation.
Besides, why would he change? The people vote for him the way he is. That turd is what the republicans want. Enjoy him.
Nicole Wallace was trying to explain the message? Heh. What kind of message would there be? The GOP is the party of ignorant “They’re all bums!” nihilists. Trump is that writ large, the barroom blowhard billionaire.* There’s no message there, just a mood.
