The Koch Brothers have finally finished off what their father started…striping down the party to its now most essential Dixiecrat roots. It’s created not a strong oligarchy of idealogs but a party full of little dirt cheap dictators who follow the flashiest demagogue who comes down the road.
I found Rubio’s performance this weekend the worst. He resorted to bathroom humor and sexual innuendos in response to Trump’s childish taunts. Marco totally gave into his worst fears and impulses. Who could ever trust Rubio or Trump…or Cruz.
Kaisch is a combination of all their worst attributes rolled up into a Republican governor’s package that promises to deliver toxic drinking water at every American’s dinner table. And he’s their only hope left.

The party of Lincoln died when Reagan opened his presidential campaign in Philadelphia, Mississippi where civil rights workers had been killed. He naturally spoke of and celebrated the doctrine of “states’ rights”, the official Confederacy justification for slavery.
What surprises me the most is how Trump can look in the mirror (Rubio says it’s a full length one) and doesn’t see an old fool of an old man with a pouch hanging over his belt telling the world tat he still attracts the best babes.
No wonder Cruz has convinced himself that Trump has mob ties.
Trump is his own fantasy…and now Rubio is trying to imitate it? The GOP is the walking dead.
It’s not the Party of Lincoln anymore. It chose a different path in the 30’s but kept the name. Given it’s new path isn’t all that non-White friendly I can’t see what Scarborough is fussing about. When Nixon decided to take the political fork in the road that got the GOP where it is today they were all for it. It was a sure bet to power.

Scarborough’s whining about Trump being responsible for the death of the Party of Lincoln is as ridiculous as David Brooks writing an entire op-ed bemoaning the paralysis in Washington D.C. without once using the word “Republican.”
They forget that before the Senator died he was pulling a 100% with the NAACP. The discussion here is on the GOP’s past choice to go the wrong way. Bird made a choice to change for the better.
