Discussion: joe todd

A little hung over but checking in from Austin, an island of reason in an ocean of derp.

Off topic…Mrs. Snarkus would hand me the scissors and the formaldehyde jar, but there are some seriously smokin’ hot nerd-babes at these Web programmers’ conferences.

We now return to “Morning Smackdown: Scarbutt vs. Mapman!”

IF Joe Scaby’s son was in the military, his skewed and jaundiced Bagger angle on this would be different. We all know that sons of privilege like Joe’s son would NEVER serve in the military. That’s left for poor slobs like the Bergdahls.
There is no end to Scarborough’s lies and treachery here. Slandering an American family whose son has been in captivity for 5 years is despicable. Scar’ should crawl over to FOX’s slimepit with the rest of the Con white trash.

Hey, Joe, who do you think you are questioning the Administration’s methods of releasing the “most dangerous” Taliban leaders we had in captivity? Don’t you know that this is the smartest administration ever? Shut your face, get in line and salute, you schmoe!

Or maybe Morning Blow. As in job, hard, cocaine…

Yes, I should have called it “not FOX news.”

The real kicker is that the GOP Hero, John McCain made anti-American statements while he was a prisoner of war.

Another dumb white man in America.

It seems the right-wingers have decided to settle comfortably into a permanent state of apoplectic rage. The topics at hand - Obamacare, IRS, Benghazi, Syria, Iran, and now Bergdahl - are totally incidental. Under different circumstances, they could easily be on the other side of those debates. The core driver of their rage is the presence of a twice elected black President with somewhat liberal views.

Hey, can you post the link where you read these things, so the rest of us can enjoy? Or are you pulling a Reid? C’mon now, put it up there for us!

Scarborough should remember that people who killed in glass houses shouldn’t be assassinating the character of others.

Criticizing the government and being disillusioned with war is NOT a criminal offense. If it were, half of the soldiers who fought in Iraq would be charged. Obama derangement syndrome is in full force.

I love the word “order”. Scar would “order” the military to protect his son.

Sigh.

The reason for keeping him on is actually pretty simple. Just review the number of articles on his show on TPM. Google any outlandish statement and see how many other blogs pick it up. No other MSNBC show, even Maddow, comes close. Yells sells.

Joe Scarborough needs to put himself in the shoes of Bowe Bergdahl’s father. What we he have done in the same situation? Condemning these parent should be off limits!

Scarborough has never been able to see past his own nose, so this is in character, plus screaming and pontificating is his stock and trade. I’ve been critical of Chuck Todd at times, but good for him. On the same subject, Mika has been a moralizing scold as well and Chris Matthews an out of control, quick to judge maniac on Bergdahl, also in character. Jim Webb was on the short bit of Matthews show yesterday I watched and said he believed in withholding judgement until all the facts were known, shut Matthews mouth, but as soon as he left, Matthews returned to his all knowing rant.

Notice how Morning Joke deftly changes the subject. He was complaining about President Obama being in the Rose Garden with the parents because of postings the father recently made. When Chuck calls him out on it, he immediately switches to 5 years ago before Bergdahl walks off the base and the father’s advice to his son at that time. Get a clue, Joe. When even Bill Kristol is sitting there silently watching your tantrum and not interrupting to put in his jabs, then you are on an island. Joe’s (and Mika’s) entire coverage of the Bergdahl matter has been shameless! Anybody who even intimates disagreement is quickly shouted down and interrupted. And, please, don’t go on that show with actual facts! You are then deemed a radical heretic!

That what Republicans do, talk over the other speaker and NEVER allow then to finish their point

Mr Scarborough’s strong overreaction has all the hallmarks of evidence that a very sensitive personal nerve was being touched.

If he were my client I would want to explore with him any strong feelings he has about something he has or hasn’t done that led to some problems in his family.

That happened a while ago. The teacher is being resentenced, and the judge was censured. He has also decided not to run again, so essentially, he is out of a job.

Poor Chuck Todd, he’s getting it from all angles. First from Chris Matthews the night before now from Scarborough!!
