Discussion: Joe Scarborough And Sean Hannity Kick Off Monday By Trading Insults

Ya know, something is seriously wrong with our society where a grown, “professional” man thinks it’s perfectlyOK to throw stupid taunts and insults on Twitter. All because someone didn’t have nice things to say about Trump - who also has said mean, childish things about both Joe and Mika.

I was thinking about this earlier today - how reality TV has changed us. We seem to like when people fight and/or insult one another. It seems to be an acceptable way to interact now. There is no shame to it - in fact, it’s viewed as being tough, manly. Look at the guy that assaulted the TV journalist, then blatantly lied about what happened. He was elected!

And now we have the biggest brattyest bully in the WH.

Folks, it’s gonna get worse from here out. Trump has lowered the bar so much it’s almost touching the floor.

The next thing you know Hannity will accuse Scarborough of putting Grey Poupon on his burger.

That Hannity think that Joe is a liberal is proof of insanity.

Delusional as always.

Notice how Hannity uses the term “Liberal” as an almost meaningless pejorative, certainly detached from any actual political leanings or opinions. It is used purely to signify someone as “Not Us,” as the enemy.

This is the dehumanization of liberals, and all “Others,” that Hannity and Rush and Fox have engaged in for decades now, and why the L-word is nearly akin to the N-word and other hateful epithets among the Republican faithful in so much of this country.

See what I posted – “Liberal” to Hannity and his flock is barely a political term anymore. “Liberal” means little more than “not exactly like us” anymore to the talk radio hate cult.

Scarborough said the Republican Party is a dying party. This clearly runs afoul of the talking point that the Democrats are without leadership or direction or Hillary didn’t go to Michigan enough. The Republican Party exists because of cheating, lying and propaganda, it’s tough to compete against that.
Hannity is a head scratcher to me. Where does the moron end and the liar begin? I never could figure that out. Also, when do people start to ask if Hannity is in league with the Russians too? It looks that way to me, but who am I going to believe?

It is a pejorative to the Fox cultists. They have been grooms led for decades to think anything liberal is evil. Never mind out nation is based on liberal principles. It is through the looking glass with “conservative” an Fox “News” cultists.

Just look at justamarine trolling here.

Worthless people trading insults. Has Scarborough ever apologized to the public for throwing softball questions to Trump during the campaign? Or am I misremembering?

Sorry, mixing my metaphors again…

Exactly. They are truly like a cult.

I don’t watch FoxNews so what is your point? What I find funny is people who spend their entire lives tuned to MSNBC call those who watch the FNC part of a cult.

BTW, the liberal principles that founded this country has nothing to do with modern liberalism as expressed by the Democratic Party or its progressive cult.

Wonder how Insanity will explain this flip flop?

And the Winner is - LIBERAL JOE!

Inconvenient facts simply do not exist for Sean. He epitomizes Lenin’s “useful idiot”.

Not quite. One of the tenets of the constitution was that the republic would only function properly if power was more or less evenly divided among the populace – land ownership, at that time. The wealth inequality we are seeing now undermines the function of our constitutional system. Progressivism is an attempt to restore balance of power to the middle classes to assure correct governmental functioning.

So stealing from one group and giving it another to purchase their loyalty is a founding principle this country was founded on?

Just read it. It’s genuinely interesting and informative.

I though the article had a few valid points, the most important was “and with the rest of the government under the control of a Republican Party whose platform bears little if any resemblance to the actual wishes and needs of the public—the left has a rare opportunity to organize a new and genuine grassroots movement. In its present circumstances, in fact, the left has little choice but to organize from the ground up, if it is to move forward at all.”

Do you think that is happening? All I see is Democrats talking about Russia and how Hillary didn’t lose but the election was stolen.
