Right-- One can only imagine what the numbers would be like if they had –

Why imagine? We have recent history of Republican policies’ effects on the economy.

But the rate fell mostly because many people out of work gave up on their job searches and were no longer counted as unemployed.

Some of this could be due to spouses and retirement-age people not needing to find a job, since they can now get affordable healthcare without one. Still a mixed report even with that.

I’ll say it again. If Romney had won in 2012 and did nothing else about the economy, the Republicans and the media would be gloating about a “Romney Recovery.”
