God bless President Carter.
In this time of relentlessly grim news, this is wonderful.

'Tis the season for miracles, and we can sure use a couple right now.
Hey, we are all terminal cases. But it is very good news to hear that this good man will be around longer than appeared to be the case. Enjoy your new lease on life, Mr. President!
It’s great to hear some good news! I wish President Carter continued optimum health, and may cancer never darken his door again.
Amazing how different cancers are so different. Granted I know it’s different people, but a woman I know was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and died about a month or two later. And I’ve also know a few other folks that had pancreatic cancer that lived very short times after the diagnosis, I think all less than a year. I don’t even think of the pancreas as a major organ. My parents, both in mid 80s, have both had all three types of skin cancer but all were treated and stopped and haven’t have any other kind of cancers.
