I actually pretty fiercely defended the Bush girls. Yeah, they were party girls who liked to get drunk and act a fool. So what? A whole lot of the sanctimonious assholes putting them down did as much drinking and hell raising as they did, only they didn’t have the national media tracking their every move. In fact, the only thing I liked about the Bush presidency was his daughters and their antics.

What can I say?..I long since tired of the act. Some still see it as genius satire. Sometimes it is funny…sometimes its not. I see it as pretending to hide what you really think. If you post as you are, you open yourself up for criticism, constructive or not, as you’re doing with me here now. But hey, that’s just my opinion. Everyone has one…just like belly buttons and assholes.
