I think Rand Paul with this post is signaling that he has no intention of becoming President of the United States. Can you imagine any serious candidate having to defend this kind of statement in the midst of a Presidential campaign?
Maybe a spoiler/extremist might get away with it in a primary, but it’s an ugly statement to define you in the general.
