I find this statement remarkable.
I think by definition someone running for president feels they are the best candidate in the mix. And here was Bush saying that he was going to use many or most of the same people in his presumed administration as his brother had. He was going to offer the same economic policies. He could not bring himself to offer the least bit of criticism of his brother, or of his father. He had the incredible gall to say that one thing he knew was that his brother kept us safe.
I guess going back to W.'s time in office is what this one thinks is āsoaringā. I would submit W. left this country āstaggeringā on so many fronts.
