In other words, no matter how ridiculous his pronouncements and espoused policies, as long as he doesn’t wear an “earth-tone” suit, can breath without the aid of a medical device, and gets in at least one scripted “zinger”, he gets a pass.
Jeb may be his own man somewhere in the world, but not in politics, he’s towing the company line and in full robotic mode.
There is nothing genuine about him.
Well said.
Said almost the same thing down-thread. GMTA.
Sigh…probably. And they’re bound and determined to make the guy a “moderate” because surely the GOP will be sane if they only incant the word over their chosen party standard-bearer often enough. Sigh.
He’ll have to service even more nut jobs than Romney did.
Jeb Bush has NO foreign policy experience. He has no right to censor or muzzle James Baker. He also is sadly ignorant and totally off base in characterizing J Street as “anti Israel.” What nerve the Adelson/Kristol/ Likud apologist group has to call J Street anti Israel and to DARE to try and censor a man who has been the Secretary of State. Why doesnt Jeb Bush just make Bill Kristol his advisor on evreything pertaining to Israel and Iran. The majority of American people are not with the GOP lemmings on this, but they will continue to embarass themselves and pander to Adelson.
But Adelson is calling the shots on Israel for the GOP and the #47waterboys.
His brother also agreed for Iran to have more centrifuges than the present deal with Iran.
Well, knowing that George W. Bush, Ted Cruz and Tom Cotton went to Ivy League schools and that my newly minted Ph.D. daughter can’t find a job while O’Reilly pulls in a 7 digit income, I’m hard-pressed to offer a counter argument.
P.S. Comparing Harry S. Truman and the village idiot Walker is grossly unfair to Harry Truman.
I honestly have not seen a poll yet that shows Jeb in the lead. I am not sure if I can even recall on that has had him in the #2 position yet. Yes, a lot of media types and Beltway people want him to win, but there is a huge divide once you start looking at the voters…particularly the ones most likely to vote in the primaries, which tend to be even more radicalized then rest of the GOP.
You want to see something really mind boggling? Just google how many of Romney’s top campaign staffers are being snatched up right and left. Its apparently a great gig, no matter how badly you screw up a campaign, everyone still wants to hire you a few years later.
‘Did the author of this story not know that James Baker is George H.W. Bush’s most trusted, ruthless consigliere?’
Let’s not beat around the Bush here Steve.

I believe this is double-speak for nuking Palestinians and/or Iran.
Who da thunk that the Jebster would be possessed of even less intelligence, integrity and tact than “W?” Boggles the mind!! Thank the Lord the other Bush brother has gone (and stayed) underground!
I think Jeb’s car has a bumper sticker that says “Ask Me About My Leadership!”
Ah, yes…the M.S.M.
The “horserace” folks.
A Cruz candidacy would entail more of a threat to Civil War than a “close election”.
A Christie candidacy would probably result in charges being filed (pick one). But also not close.
A Walker candidacy would prove (more than even Palin) that Gov. and Prex are different. But not close
Same same. Poppy and Jim certainly had their own issues with Israel. Makes W’s kissy-face with the PNAC neocons and Israel generally all the more, I don’t know, perplexing? Revealing? Typical?
Google “James Baker” and “Fuck the Jews, they don’t vote for us anyway.”
You are assured an afternoon of entertaining reading.
“I did not believe that it was appropriate to go speak to J Street, a group that basically has anti-Israeli sentiments,” Bush said Thursday during a radio interview with Brian Kilmeade.
J Street=Anti-Israel Sentiments? And this guy is supposed to be a moderate in the GOP?
Unbelievable.
