It’s hard to pin down what parts to hate more… the architecture, the history, the symbolism, the monuments, the food, the mall, the Smithsonian, the cherry trees, who it’s named after, that it’s home to the constitution, Arlington cemetery, world embassies, the people, the art…

Jeb! will lie, pander, crawl in the mud naked with a baby bonnet on, affirm the manifold idiocies of the stupidest, most ignorant fifth or so of the public, run any remaining shred of dignity he might have through a wood chipper, insult the intelligence of any thinking person, betray any ideal or worthwhile thing imaginable, Jeb! will cheerfully do anything he needs to do to prove he has—wait for it—the qualities you look for in a leader.
