Trump is not the problem Jeb, he’s the symptom. If someone said these crazy racist things - that you admit are crazy racist - in the Democratic party, he’d have been drummed out from day one, he absolutely would not be the frontrunner.

You don’t have a bad candidate messing up your good party, you have the perfect candidate for a party that you can’t seem to understand has become rotten to the core.

And you John Ellis Bush are losing to Trump (even if your CT were true). So what does that tell you about the viability of your candidacy and the state of your party’s “base”…?

Jesus–how fucking desperate can you get? And speaking of Jesus, wasn’t it Jeb who just a few days ago said we should only allow Christian refugees come here, cause, "you can prove you’re a Christian.”

“Believe me – from Hillary’s standpoint, the one person she doesn’t want running against her is Donald Trump,” he said at the time."

I think that my Beagle Daisy could beat Donald Trump in a general election.

This makes perfect sense: All of Trump supporters are blindly following Hillary’s tricks.

Donald is just a reflection (and vocal one at that) of what is wrong with the Republican Party. These clowns do not get it.

this idea is just so fucking stupid, i’m shocked at how frequently i see it offered… (well, not really shocked).
the hit trump is taking in terms of his reputation and ultimately the impact it will likely have on his business dealings is too great to risk. prior to this, he was just dismissed as a ‘big personality with a loud mouth’. but he’s now veered off into being seen as a racist bigot doing everything to stoke fear and hatred. he’s already lost a few business deals resulting from the comments re mexicans; but the slime directed at muslims could cost him billions.

and those people currently turning out for his speeches at the local convention hall are not going to replace that money – even by losing at his casinos or enrolling in trump university.

Has anyone in the Florida Democratic party started to asked the Floridan Latino Republicans like Rep. Carlos Curbelo (R-FL) if they will support Donald if he is the nominee? This is the kind thing you can make opposition videos of. How stupid is the Florida Democratic Party if they haven’t?

This is a pretty telling comment about the desperation of the Bush campaign in particular, and about the GOP “establishment” in general. They’re panicking about the fact that Trump refuses to go away nicely—they don’t want him to be the nominee, but they don’t want him running a third party campaign, either. That’s why I think Cruz will be the eventual nominee—he’s best positioned to hold onto both the Evangelicals and the Tea Party Trumpettes.

I wonder if he learned about this conspiracy by reading the latest news on JebBush.com

Given the Right’s penchant for buying into absurd conspiracy theories I wouldn’t be surprised if this one doesn’t start having some legs. Especially in Texas

My reaction exactly. We know the Bushes are good at making things up.

With few exceptions, Dems are chronically inept at playing retail political hardball. Almost never aggressive, slow to react and take advantage of opportunities, and generally most comfortable in a defensive crouch with the covers pulled over their heads.
