The power of wishful thinking.
Jeb Bush blames Obama for Iraq War because he didnât argue hard enough against it.
Jeb was governor of a state that had a failed election that was such a mess that his brother W became president because with Jebâs help there was no way to quickly count the votes and a Republican Supreme Court gave the contest to the loser. Again, this could only have been accomplished with Jebâs help. Then his brother loses 3000 Americans in New York and uses this failure with the help of the media to start a war that costs trillions, kills hundreds of thousands and maims scores of thousands. People who will be in wheelchairs, not be able to have sex not be able to have normal lives and relationships, and this little prick is trying to blame it on someone whose only assignment was to fix the mess. Think about what a bunch of deviants Bush and Co. are.
New bumper sticker: JEB! WAR!
This is a sign of desperation. JebBush realizes that he is being walked over and coming off as weak, boring and dumber than his well known dumb brother. And he is as this weak maneuver to search for popularity in a failed war proves.
Even successful war, whatever that is, is unpopular because war sucks. JebBush is appealing to the neocons that love war and basically are dependent on war financially.
This is obvious and also obviously he is bailing on the amigo to Mexicans approach because no Spanish references.
Then there is the fact that he is completely wrong, so the, in the bank, base will follow but thatâs it. More lying about an already famously dishonest war will gain him not one more vote. It might get him out of his embarrassing position in the clown car, behind Fiorina and Carson but then the wall of reality is right in his way.
The inherent Bush dumbness is not Obamaâs fault, that is a Bush thing.
Please tell me again why this idiot is considered the âsmart Bushâ
Heâs dumber than his nitwit brother.
For the republicans, nothing happened before 2009 or so they would want us to believe. What really irks me is that no one stops them when they say Obama withdrew the troops early, knowing it was Bush who signed the deal with the Iraqis to get out and that the Iraqis wanted us out. This is why I despise our media or whatever it is they are supposed to be. They did the same with the economy when it went south - tried to blame Obama - even for the TARP which he had nothing to do with. A deal that handed trillions over to the banks with no conditions or restrictions -
And letâs not ever forget this:
You want another war or two in the Middle East? You can absolutely count on it with this set of advisors.
Iâm having deja vu all over again.
Sorry, loser, but you donât get to rewrite history unless you win.
HahaâŚdonât forget KatrinaâŚ
This IS why we canât have nice things.
OMFG! Without the ability to delude themselves at a level approaching outright eyes-crossing mental illness, the Repuke Party would cease to exist overnight.
Jebby, however, is partially âcorrectâ. The US withdrawal from Iraq allowed ISIS to return from Syria (having gone there to gain strength after our âsurgeâ in Iraq). However, just a teensy problem with where he is placing the blame⌠Obama and Hilary withdrew the troops on a legally binding timetable agreed to between the US and Iraqi governments. The president who pushed through that timetable (over many objections)? George Dumbyaâ BUSH!
Jebbyâ brother George and their ilk wanted to make the middle east our 51st state. We would have
been there, borrowing money from China, forever to pursue Dubyaâ and the Neo-Consâ wet dream. Democracy in the middle east? Absolutely laughable.
âA premature and fatal errorâ would be putting another fu*king BUSH in the White House.
GOP primary voters may be dumb enough to actually nominate Donald Trump, but I cannot see them buying into this level of horseshit.
A brief review of American history since WWII should disabuse you of this notion. Successful war is vastly popular with Americans, they can hardly wait for the next one. See: Iran.
Several thumbs up. This is about as close to explaining Jeb!'s thinking as possible. Earlier he gave four different answers in four days as to what he would have done with the (cooked) intel about Iraq, but now heâs obviously decided with the help of the neocons who advise him to go full out in favor of more war. To include Hillary and Obama as failing as winning this war is delusional and red meat for the rightwing nuts. If he wants more war, let him march some bush offspring to a recruiting office.
Perhaps itâs, at the last, a good thing that Jebbyâ is out there reminding us of how we got into the FUBAR mess in Iraq and what has happened to Iraq since Dubyaâs wholly misguided invasion. Now, Jeb wants to double down on the stupidity that killed thousands of Iraqis and Americans while squandering trillions.
Republicans want to increase our military presence, reduce taxes and cut the budget deficit. Only proves they donât do math any better than foreign policy, and sickeningly that seems to matter little to their depraved, low/no info, âbase.â
That depends on the explanation of âsuccessfulâ I say. And it depends heavily upon which group of Americans that you mean because it isnât me or my people.
