Nonsense. The inaction was the GOP’s. The intelligence services warned this was happening, and McConnell blocked a bipartisan response. All that happened before the election. Defense against hackers is the responsibility of people maintaining the systems.

I really didn’t expect him to jump in to his raving about Hillary, Mueller, Elections, Email Servers, Investigations and on and on. At the same time, it did feel like he was a dog that got off the leash and Putin had to chase him down the street for a bit. Treason, oh yeah, but GONZO as hell.

Actually, I thought Slovik was executed for desertion in the face of the enemy.
Wikipedia claims that the last person executed for treason in the U.S. was back during the Civil War (for tearing down a flag, which should make some of the folks around Donnie a tad nervous…)
