Allow me to translate that for you: She used a public company’s server infrastructure for her email.
Because “didn’t use a private server” almost certainly means "did use something like Google’s Gmail, Microsoft’s Outlook.com, Yahoo mail, Zoho, etc. …
This is, to put it mildly, not inherently more secure than a private server located on your own premises with limited access.
Because Mark Zuckerberg reminds us each time he opens his mouth these days just how careful many of these companies are with our online privacy.
