I haven’t cared enough to find out enough about Ivanka to know if she does this kind of thing: 1) because she’s clueless; 2) to get in a dig at her dad because of something he’s done or because he’s generally an embarrassment; or 3) in order to try to make herself look good.
I’m thinking all 3. But that could be giving her too much credit.
To First Lady Iwanka Trump’s credit she has oddly enough responded in a timely fashion to the issues surrounding sexual predators and child molestors, a community that has been embraced by her father.
I think that these are cries for help. I suspect that she may have been a victim of sexual abuse herself and someone she trusted may have taken advantage of her. I hope she has the courage to speak up and provide her account of the abuse she endured and the trauma that ensued.

I try not to think too much about her, but this has crossed my mind, too. Not only is there a chance she was a victim of sexual abuse, but her mother filed sexual assault charges against Trump. Ivanka was around ten years old at the time, and that must have left a deep impression on her.
