I won’t argue with that, but I would argue that this kid, CJ Person, is especially good at it. He excels at it (being an asshole) and seems pretty proud to be a GOP fool.

Actually, I believe his parents are Dems and it was mentioned in one of the articles from a while ago that they’re as nonplussed by their kid’s nutjobbery as we are.

so we are supposed to care about a know-nothing 13 year old who tells the President, a Harvard educated former Constitutional law school professor and the leader of the free world, that Mr. Obama is “ignorant” and doesn’t understand “reality” but he, the 13 year old does?
It boggles the mind how anyone, even a kid, with a video camera and internet link, can suddenly become an expert political commentator who is taken seriously enough to warrant time and space on TPM…

Young man, it is rather hard to converse with the dead. A bit of life experience will eventually teach you that. But kudos for getting out and expressing yourself. Just take some advice… don’t jaywalk anywhere near a Stockton police officer. or wear a hoodie with some Skittles in your pocket and a Big Gulp in your hand. In fact, keep a smart phone with you at all times. You never know when one of those boys in blue will mistake you for a black kid breathing in public.

And if his parent are indeed Dems, there is a point when they should step in and explain to him that he’s making an ass of himself (though in a way different than many 13-year olds are known to make asses of themselves) and, by extension, disgracing the family.

It’s sometimes interesting being a witness to how times change.
When I was young CJ’s father would not have been permitted to pass the front stoop of any of the homes in my grandparent’s southern neighborhood. For a day’s labor he would have been fed from the back porch, and the dishes boiled after he used them. He would have been expected to use the alley for his travel home and not use the main street. These things I witnessed.
And yet the ideology that was behind those ridiculous acts of racism are perfectly aligned with the comments this child is parroting today.
An amazing juxtaposition.
