Issa’s district has a very slight GOP enrollment advantage. Is it really wise of him to be picking a fight with a POTUS whose approval is well over 50% these days? A Hillary wave and a strong opponent could blow Issa right out of Congress.

To copy their methods: We are not really sure that Mr Issa is a car thief or arsonist, but there are serious doubts on the part of some people. Perhaps there really is some truth to the allegations, but we can’t be entirely sure.

So, if the Obama administration is scandalous because of “Americans died overseas and veterans have died here at home.” So, I wonder what that would make the Bush administration by his definition? Also, notice he does not cite any specifics? Is he STILL referring to Benghazi? Then, I wonder what he would make of the several plus embassies that were attacked during the Bush administration?

Edit: I’m going to search for his voting record as far as funding the V.A. is concerned, since he’s so concerned about veterans dying at home. Anyone wanna bet against his record being piss poor?

The meaning of the word “scandal” is broadening a bit to include, at the GOP user’s discretion, pretty much anything bad that ever happened. Obama was elected and scandalously failed to solve every problem in human life.

Two commercials Issa has been running here in San Diego are indicative of his warped sense of duty.
One throws as much mud as I’ve ever seen in an ad by citing details of a non-amicable divorce that Applegate went through at some point in his life. I needed a shower after seeing it.
The other featured constituents praising him for FAVORS he did for them: getting stalled VA benefits, etc. As if it’s his job to pull strings for people.

Honestly, the worst of the worst are so obviously hateful, so ridiculous that they’re in many cases a net benefit for Democrats. Walsh, King, Gohmert, Farenthold, etc. are sort of useful idiots because they’re so openly offensive and crazy. Issa is one of those who doesn’t come off as nuts, who appears as reasonable even when he’s saying idiotic shit that isn’t true. Those are the ones I really want gone.

Ha, that’s a fair point. You can point at Gohmert and go “see Republicans, this is how stupid you are” or “see Republicans, you elect overt white supremacists” but I guess you can’t put Eric Cantor in that category, slimy and pathetic though he might be. Paul Ryan is probably the most perfect version of this that exists.
