Discussion: Islamic State Threatens To Attack Washington D.C. In New Video

No, Jeb, and all the other Dubya defenders would say that Obama was warned (with far less specificity than Dubya) and therefore it was all his fault. In fact, they are already saying it about Paris. WTF is wrong with these hateful idiotic children?

Seriously, he’d screech so loudly for so long that afterward he’d have to talk in a whisper for a week. Every last one would, ā€œestablishmentā€ or not. The sang-froid with which they greet domestic mass shootings would be strikingly absent.

I mean that ā€œor we empower a strong peaceful resolution on Syria and get the Arab nations who are not supporting ISIS (clandestinely, and I’m looking at you Saudi Arabia) must work in concert to eliminate them and the ridiculous schism between Shia and Sunni at the root of all this strifeā€ is magical thinking.

Unless, of course, Obama quits pussy footing around and deploys the Green Lantern Corps.

Oh, OK…Written in the light of your green lantern? Your ā€œresolutionā€ belies your metaphors.

Yes, I’m sure they will believe it and will do their best to stop it, because today we have a smart, Democratic President rather than a dumb, Republic President.

Only the Republicans who talk big but are physical cowards.

There is a reason for the old saying ā€œMoney is the root of all evilā€. Yes, follow the money, and publish the name of every donor and every bank that laundered a donation. Maybe send a drone after the top ten ISIS funders, since they are at least as guilty of facilitating murder as the thugs on the ground.

Well, only after heading to Crawford for a little vacay.

While I agree with your sentiment and solution, I have to point one thing out–it is not money that is the root of all evil, it is the love of money that is the root of all evil.

The hawks are completing the adoption of their new bogeyman.

Not in this case. Money let people with murderous intentions communicate, train, buy weapons, rent cars, and everything else that facilitated the mass murder. They were not motivated by the love of money, they were motivated by religious intolerance.

John McCain is your man:"

In a small, mirror-paneled room guarded by a Secret Service agent and packed with some of the city’s wealthiest and most influential political donors, Mr. McCain got right to the point.

ā€œOne of the things I would do if I were President would be to sit the Shiites and the Sunnis down and say, ā€˜Stop the bullshit,ā€™ā€ said Mr. McCain, according to Shirley Cloyes DioGuardi, an invitee, and two other guests

He would have had Sarah Palin as backup, though, so the opportunity to make this happen may have passed us by. She seems to have lost interest in her legacy as an international force for peace.

Believe it or not, Obama is being highly criticized in the MSM today by all the ex-military hawks, including Diane Feinstein

I don’t disagree, I was merely pointing out a common error in the use of that phrase.

Please retire, DF.

I have in the past held my nose when I voted for her. Sadly I may not get the chance to not vote for her as she may be retiring but I despise the woman

I call your million billion kajillion dollars and raise you

Just to be clear, I’m assuming your bet stands at a million billion kajillion gazillion.

The media likes to call her California’s most popular politician, but what that really means is she is the California Democrat most liked by Republicans.
