If Cohen (or anyone else) testifies before a House committee, the Dems may coordinate with the SC and refrain from asking certain questions in order to avoid harming the SC’s work, but the Dems cannot control what questions may be asked by the GOPers on the committee.

True. However I believe Schiff is up to the task of finding ways to head this off or blunt the hoped for effect.
Assuming that is Rs ever appoint any members HPSCI.
