I am with you. The problem is Republicans seem to be better at organizing outrage, fake or otherwise, whereas Democrats cannot even organize outrage over treason and colluding with Russians.

I hate dam games. Games like trying to name the tallest dam, or the widest dam, or the dam made with the most concrete. It just makes me so damn mad.

Only under oath in the House committee. Only under oath - because then not only do we have a lie, we have perjury and contempt of Congress.

Only under oath in the House committee.

In this case it’s more like “One of the dogs ate my homework but I’m not sure which one.”

But also an impossibility.

Q: “Whose job is it to fork over the tax returns?”
A: “I don’t know.”
Q: “It yours, you freakin’ idiot! Now hand me the damn returns!”

I was going to make that second Q an FU, but I was afraid no one would understand it meant Follow Up because of the wording of the follow up.

Obviously Dump is not under audit. I have been audited, and they wrap things up within a few months.
Given Trumps extensive fake holdings, make that a year, two at most.

Anyone who believes Dump is still under audit needs glasses.

When he says “no”, he actually means yes. I’ll be interested to see how he justifies lying to Congress in future hearings.

I’m not a tax lawyer, but I have been audited. As far as I know, audits have to be completed within three years of the filing. After three years, the returns can’t be amended, and also the government can’t make claims because of the statute of limitations. I’m sure there are exceptions, but it is definitely not normal for a return from 2014 or 2015 to still be under audit.
