What Shifty Cruz is inviting is a little bit of NH primary mischief. NH is not quite an open primary, but if youâre registered as undeclared you can vote in either primary (and then switch right back to undeclared, if you like). Itâs a thing, apparently. In other words, say youâre registered as undeclared, normally vote Democratic, but think the NH Democratic primary is not going to be close. Cruz would like you to consider whether you wouldnât enjoy tormenting The Donald in the NH GOP primary.
